 nodules on thyroid goiter

3 years ago I had an ultrasound of the thyroid, because the Dr. told me I have a goiter. This is about the same time my aunt was diagnosed with cancer of the thyroid that had spread to her lymph glands. I was a little conserned, the endocrynologist told me not to worry, just about every one with a goiter has nodules & mine were small, not enough to biopsy at that time. I have trouble with cold beverages, loosing my breath when resting, puffy eyes, bad colesterol numbers, high blood pressure (taking norvec) and my glucose #'s were bad. Should I worry about this goiter/ nodules things? My aunt says she wishes she would not have waited so long.Just had a heart cath @ West Penn Hosp.I did not need a stent. Also Mum & her brother ( my uncle ) had stents put in kidneys for the arteries in the kidneys were bad? Does that puy me @ risk? Do you think that is the source of my high pressure?

I'm not a doctor, but it sounds like your
entire endocrine system is struggling.
I would advise you to get to a naturopathic doctor
right away.
There is an excellent clinic in Seattle called Tahoma clinic. Dr Wright is excellent and so is his staff.
